Day 12 One on One- 100!

Well this is the 100th entry for this blog, and to celebrate I am going to keep it under 100 words....this means I only have 74 words left! YIKES!

I finally got my one on one alone time with sweet Ayla Bayla. We went for Thai food and a bubble drink, but I had to leave earier than expected because I got a call to go early to get my hair and make-up done for the show. This made me sad, our time together is so short. She is nearly 14, I still think of her as my little baby. I can feel her slipping away into adulthood, ultimatly I am very happy and proud of this, but a little sad too.

“What is something you have done that you are very proud of?“ is the question in 12 days journal #81

My answer is Ayla.

154 words...not bad I suppose.

  1. My kids. Leaving my ex. Refinding myself when I was lost and in danger of never being found again. My 3 amazing kids. My writing.

When I was in 5th grade, I wrote a play, and some of my classmates and I put it on for our class. Two of my teachers took the initiative to have us perform it at the public library and a local nursing home. There was a write-up in the newspaper about it. I still have the clipping. I'm very proud of the play (which is funny and a tad cringe-worthy now but was quite good for a 5th grader) and of our performances of it.

  2. Asking what I'm proud of is very thought provoking right now.

My eldest will be 14 in 10 days, and time is slipping away much too quickly. Thank God for friends to cry with! Carpe Diem!! ruthie
